We Chose The Right Colour!

When the roofer first took the job, Scott suggested to him that we should get a crane so that he can work safely.  He insisted that he can do it with a ladder.  However, half way through the second day on the job, he realized that it was too steep in the front and it was just too difficult to work.  So we rented this machine called the articulating boom and in one day, he got the job done!

I think we've achieved the look!

I love the detail of the roof over the middle window.

We had a look at the progress of the plumbing work as we haven't been inside for a few days.  As I walked over to the kitchen, I realized that we really need to plan ahead and make certain decisions now.  We had just come back from seeing Mario from Atlas Kitchens.  Base on his measurements, I would not have enough room for a dishwasher on the left side of the sink as well as a Lazy Susan in the corner.  I will have to have the dishwasher on the right hand side of the sink and the trash/recycling pullout on the left side.  Does this mean that the plumber has to move the pipes to accommodate the new layout?

Mario showed me this new storage called Le Mans that I can have in place of the Lazy Susan if I'm tight for space.  It utilizes the corner but only requires one door to access it.  Isn't this so cool?
